pbr.n was officially launched on February 26, 2002 as a personal site. In the past, it's housed a blog, original writing, fanart, and original art. Nowadays, though, it primarily serves as a place for me to stash my fan writing, vids, and fannish recommendations.
It's hosted by RadixHosting and was built from scratch with TextWrangler, Photoshop, and Cyberduck. The layout's optimized for Mozilla Firefox at 1024x768 resolution or greater. Graphics used in the menu came from Getty Images.

Beth CG Phoenix is an irredeemable nerd and recent master's graduate living on the east coast (for now) of the United States. Still reeling from the rediscovery of that strange and foreign concept known as "free time," she may actually work her way up to being an active fandom participant again soon. Gasp! She also really, really wants to be a professional author when she "grows up," but will settle for being a cross between Rupert Giles and Aziraphale -- i.e. a rare books librarian -- at some random university.
When she's not batting her eyelashes at every library she can find and asking them to hire her, she's usually pretending to be fictional characters, sneaking into comic book stores, and memorizing things for no real purpose other than to start quoting them at people when they least expect it.
The way to her heart is with good stories. And good tea. But mostly stories.
...The tea never hurts, though.

The characters and worlds used in the writings are not mine, and I am not affiliated with their respective owners in any way. No copyright infringement is intended, and no money is changing hands; I'm just a fan trying to hone her writing skills while (hopefully) entertaining other fans. Same goes for the vids...only, y'know, replace "writing skills" with "editing skills" and such.
All the same, please don't claim my work are your own. I did put a lot of time into everything on this site, and finding out it's been passed off as someone else's work makes me bitter, cynical, and grey before my time. If you want to archive a story, . Vids, on the other hand, are not for distribution; if you want to share, just pass along a link to the site rather than the actual file.
